Alan Siege is the founder and principal of Small Business Management Consulting; a 15-year-old firm that helps small businesses attract more customers by telling their business story
better and become more profitable by refining their business model.

Clients have included a landscape designer, videographer, fashion designer, chiropractor, IT provider, sound engineer, psychologist, physical therapist, night club/restaurant, hardware store, toy store, door manufacturer, and tile/cabinet distributor.

Alan has led business workshops through the Brooklyn and Manhattan Chambers of Commerce, the Support Center of New York, the Brooklyn Business Outreach Center and Brooklyn Public Libraries. His business comments have been in Crain’s New York, NY Newsday, the New York Enterprise Report, Daily News, Good Housekeeping, and Forbes.

He has an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Pace University, and a master’s degree in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College. He teaches business classes for the NYC Department of Small Business Services and is an Adjunct Instructor in the Kaufman Foundation’s FastTrac Program. He has taught business classes at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, City University of New York, and continues to teach at Long Island University.
